Natalia Horecna studied at the Bratislava Dance Conservatory and was already dancing in productions of the National Theatre of Slovakia.
In 1993 she won a prize at the Prix de Lausanne. From 1994 till 2003 she was a member of the Hamburg Ballet and was promoted as soloist. From 2003 till 2006 she danced at the Scapino Ballet in Rotterdam and from 2006 till 2012 at the Nederlands Danstheater in The Hague.
She danced in many ballets of important choreographers, such as Robert Cohan, John Neumeier, George Balanchine, Mats Ek, Jiri Kylian, Sol Leon, Paul Lightfoot and many others. Natalia Horecna also danced at several international festivals and gala performances.
She has been choreographing for 6 years now and finished her 21st creation in Vienna / Austria.
In 2012 she was named as one of the choreographers of the year by the German magazine Tanz.
In the same year she was invited to the State Banquet, hosted by Her Majesty Queen of the Netherlands, in honor of His Excellency the President of the Slovak Republic.
